Why is this outing one you need to be a part of? Well, not only is this “a fun course, with an emphasis on variety,” but your involvement in the outing as either a golfer or a sponsor - or better yet, as both! - is crucial. Your support enables the Irish Diaspora Center to carry out its vital work, making you an integral part of our mission. For more than 25 years, the Irish Diaspora Center has been at the heart of social services in the Philadelphia Irish Community. Our programs focus on three main areas: - supporting a thriving immigrant community with dignity, compassion, and respect; - creating a robust, intergenerational community dedicated to respect, reciprocity, responsibility, and resiliency through relationship building; and, - encouraging a healthy, strong community focused on holistic wellness Whether supporting clients through immigration, intergenerational, or wellness, our team of volunteers and staff are dedicated to ensuring that every person who walks through our doors receives the care needed. However, only with your help can we continue to serve those in need. The IDC relies on the generosity of our community and partners to fund our services. Each gift or sponsorship, no matter the size, significantly affects the lives of the roughly 3,000 people we serve annually.
