With much gratitude, we pause to celebrate our 25th year in service to the Irish community of Greater Philadelphia. Please join us for a special evening with our Irish Philadelphia community where we will reflect on our history and look forward to a bright future. Our Board would like to take a moment to celebrate those who have made this journey possible. We will recognize the contributions of our former Executive Directors: Tom Conaghan, Siobhan Lyons, and Leslie Alcock. Since 1998, our staff, volunteers, and supporters have made it possible to help thousands of people as they navigate the U.S. immigration system, build a life in this country, raise a family, and retire with dignity. The work of our Center is vital to the Greater Philadelphia Irish community. During our program, the Consul General of Ireland, Ms. Helena Nolan, will present three awards - the Irish Diaspora Center’s Annie Moore Award, Legacy Award, and Liam Hegarty Memorial Award - to those who support the Irish Diaspora Center and have been central to furthering our mission: to strengthen our heritage by providing the Irish Diaspora in the Greater Philadelphia area with Consular, Immigration, and community-building social services.
